BUSINESS & EMPLOYERS

The future of effective aged care rests on having a skilled and flexible workforce. Models of best practice in aged care continue to evolve, however all rely on the skills of an effective aged care team.

Are you...

You’re at the right place. We can help you with all this and more at Royal College of Healthcare.

Traineeships

Traineeships are one of our core competencies. We have been funded to deliver training as a Preferred Supplier under User Choice traineeships for many years and we are currently a pre-qualified supplier to Queensland DET.  We have also received funding for many years under Department of Health and Ageing funding (Better Skills for Better Care and Community Aged Care Workforce Development).

We have developed numerous preferred supplier arrangements with employers based on our niche focus on aged care and our training delivery approach which results in high levels of participant completion. We customise all training to the needs of the employer and the trainee. The training mode, frequency, duration, group size and assesssment approach is determined in consultation with the emplopyer and with the trainee(s). LLN competency is assessed prior to start of training, and LLN support, mentoring and tutoring assistance are offered throughout the course.

If you are looking for funding to train existing workers, we would be happy to meet to discuss the various options available to you. Contact us to schedule a meeting.
