With an ageing population, training more carers (Assistants in Nursing and Personal Care Workers) is a key priority of the Australian government. Under PPP funding, the Certificate III in Aged Care program is a joint Commonwealth and Queensland Government Initiative designed to address the current skills shortage in the aged care industry.
Royal College of Healthcare is an RTO that specializes in aged care, training people to become professional carers with the necessary qualifications to gain employment.

The Productivity Places Program is an Australian Government initiative, designed to train 711,000 Australians for work over 5 years. Many of these places have been allocated to job seekers.
If you want to gain the necessary skills to care for the elderly and frail in our communities, and to gain ongoing employment, then this funded training program may be just the start you need!

Course Overview
Our PPP funded Certificate III in Aged Care is a 10 week, full time program that combines knowledge based training and on the job vocational placement. Vocational placement is structured workplace learning that prepares students for the workforce. It is a component of most of ourcourses, designed to help students better understand what they have learned by putting it into practice in the workplace. Our point of difference lies in the work we do to prepare our students for the workplace. Royal College of Healthcare has years of experience training jobseekers to become work- ready, competent and confident carers.
No cost to you
The Productivity Places Program covers all training related expenses. There are no hidden charges, or extras. If approved for a place, the costs of your training and learning materials are completely covered by the Australia Government.
