MANAGEMENT COURSES for Healthcare Professionals

The changing healthcare workplace has led to the development of a significantly different role for Managers and their teams. There is a move away from the traditional skills of the supervisor controlling, directing and maintaining discipline, to the team leader being responsible for coaching, facilitating and developing team cooperation.  These qualifications provide the core leadership competencies required by contemporary managers in healthcare sectors.

These courses have been contextualised for the healthcare sector, and are particularly appropriate for those with operational or clinical backgrounds who now find they are managing others. These programs of study can also be an excellent induction module for newly promoted staff, as well as a valuable resource for the more experienced manager in a healthcare context.

When it comes to study, flexibility is the key. Management qualifications are offered as a blended delivery including workbook or online study supported by workshops. Ask us about traineeship arrangements.

All qualifications issued by the College are nationally recognised and are regularly reviewed to ensure that they not only meet but exceed current industry and legislative requirements.
